Abbey theatre: The Abbey theatre is a few minutes from the city centre. It has a licensed bar, good parking facilities and a welcoming atmosphere.

Tomas Jimenez and Maria Jose Garcia present SPANISH GUITAR AND CASTANETS

This is a varied programme of passionate Spanish flamenco guitar solos and duets with castanets.

The Company of Ten presents PYGMALION by Bernard Shaw

This enchanting play has been delighting audiences since 1913! It tells how a phonetics professor trains a Cockney flower-girl to behave like a duchess.

20 – 28 March 2009   8pm

The Company of Ten presents THE LINDEN TREE by J.B. Priestley

This is a thought provoking drama about a professor who is under pressure to retire. His wife and four children have strong reactions!

31 March – 4 April 2009 8pm

St Albans Chamber Opera presents THE BARBER OF SEVILLE by Giacomo Rossini

This is a comic master about a barber who devises schemes to unite two young lovers, Rosina and Count Almaviva.

16 – 18 April 2009 8pm

St Albans Youth Music Theatre presents BUGSY MALONE

Songs include Fat Sam’s Grand Slam, Bad Guys, My Name is Tallulah and Give a Little Love.
