If anyone has spotted the legendary Chris Corbould wandering happily around the streets of St Albans this week, it’s because he has just been awarded an honorary Doctor of Arts degree, from the University of Hertfordshire.
Along with many others, Chris -the Special Effects Legend- has attended St Albans Cathedral for the awards ceremonies. His great talents in digital effects and stunts in films like James Bond, Superman and Batman, has inspired many young people.
In receiving his award, Chris thanked the University and advised the other students; “Soak up as much knowledge as you can.  Be like a sponge and it will come back and pay dividends.”
And Chris Corbould’s career success is living proof!
