Farmers markets

The markets are held at St Albans Market Place on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 10am until 4pm
The produce for sale includes
  • Ostrich products
  • Wild boar
  • Organic chicken and pork
  • Goats cheese
  • Organic vegetabls
  • Homemade pies, cakes, jams, relishes
  • Organic flour
  • Bread
  • Gluten free products
  • Eggs
  • Tomatoes
  • Honey
  • Moroccan cuisine
  • Curry sauces
  • Pressed apple juice
  • Wine
  • Marinated olives
  • Smoked and fresh fish

Markets

St. Albans has been a market town since the Middle Ages. There are markets every Wednesday and Saturday in the city centre, selling a braod range of merchandise. Farmers markets are held on the second Sunday of the month and specialist French markets are held occasionally.
